Sheamus Offers A Hilarious Take On Cody Rhodes' Neck Tattoo

Not for him? There are all kinds of things that can be part of a wrestler’s signature look. A wrestler making a major change can be quite the shakeup for whatever they are doing and can become a big deal for the rest of their careers. One of the biggest stars in WWE today has such a distinguishing look and now another current Superstar has something interesting to say about it.

Sheamus was recently interviewed by The Masked Man Show and was asked about getting a neck tattoo ala WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. Sheamus said that there was no way he would ever get such a tattoo, saying he would “die of liver and kidney failure” before doing so. He also said that it would not be worth it, as his family, especially his mother, would ridicule him for it. When asked about Rhodes’ choice to get the tattoo, Sheamus said he hoped Rhodes had “about 20 bourbons” before making the decision.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that makes for some funny reactions as Rhodes’ tattoo has long since been a source of humor in wrestling, even from Rhodes himself. There is something to be said about something being that over the top and obvious, though Rhodes has more than embraced it over the years. I’m sure both of them will have a chuckle over this and that is pretty much the point of the whole thing.
