Not done? Retirement is one of the most complicated concepts in wrestling as you might see a wrestler announce their retirement but then return to the ring later on in a surprise. It can be quite the interesting moment when someone who seemed to have hung up their boots decide to return to the ring, but in this case we might be hearing something about one last return.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Details On Recent WWE Releases, Which Were The Biggest Surprises

Last week on NXT, JDC made a surprise return, unsuccessfully challenging Lexis King for the Heritage Cup. JDC was interviewed by For The Love Of Wrestling and revealed that NXT executive Shawn Michaels told him that he believed he had “one or two” matches left in him. There is nothing to suggest that WWE is considering having Michaels, 59 years old, return to the ring, though he did superkick Kevin Owens last month at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Michaels last wrestled in 2018, his first match since retiring in 2010.

Michaels has had quite the career. Check out what he has done over the years:

Opinion: This is a case of “I’ll believe it when I see it”, as the idea of Michaels returning to the ring after so man years away is almost hard to fathom. If anyone could make it happen it would be Michaels as he is good enough to pull off something like that, but at the end of the day it would be a major stretch. Maybe that is what winds up happening, but for now we are going to have to wait and see.
