Sky’s the limit on this one. Sasha Banks is one of the biggest names in women’s wrestling at the moment and one of the biggest stars in wrestling in general. She had an amazing 2016 and is likely to be a top star in the division in 2017 as well. She’s such a big deal that it seems like a major cosmetics company is cashing in on her gimmick.

Banks recently tweeted out a picture of herself in an unnamed store standing next to an ad for Maybelline cosmetics. The ad features a woman wearing a BOSS ring and features the slogan “Lash it Like a Boss.” Banks doesn’t seem pleased and asks about gimmick infringement. Here’s the Tweet:

Opinion: I know some of these are a bit of a stretch but do you really think there’s nothing to this one? I’m not saying there’s going to be a lawsuit or anything like that but the catchphrase and the jewelry are a bit too much of a coincidence when you add them together. You would think Maybelline would have just asked Banks to be the model for the brand as I can’t imagine WWE would turn it down.
