Rumored “Survivor Series 2017” Match Confirmed

Unicorns vs. hounds. Most of the build towards “Survivor Series 2017” has been focused on “Monday Night Raw” vs. “Smackdown Live”, which is certainly a good way to go about things. A few weeks back the blue show invaded its red counterpart with New Day leading the charge. That’s not the kind of thing that is going to go unnoticed.

As announced tonight on “Monday Night Raw”, the Shield will face New Day at “Survivor Series 2017”. Earlier in the night Shield challenged New Day to the match and New Day accepted via Twitter about an hour later. This will be the first time that the two trios have ever faced off in a six man tag.

Here’s what really set this off.

Opinion: This match isn’t going to get the build that it deserves but it’s actually kind of a dream match. WWE doesn’t have the longest history of trios and you could very easily argue that these are the two most successful WWE has ever had. I mean, really who else would be above these two? The original DX maybe? Anyway, this should be an amazing match with Shield as heavy favorites, but stranger things have happened.
