Not so fast. With so many things going on in the wrestling world, it can be difficult to keep track of what is going on at any given point. It can be made even more complicated when something big happens, as all kinds of stories and reports can come out, whether accurate or not. That seems to be the case again, as a recent report of a major event is being shot down.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Warn Us Next Time: WWE Hall Of Famer’s Special Surprise Return May Have Been Spoiled
This week on SmackDown, Jey Uso attacked both Jimmy Uso and Roman Reigns before saying he was “out” of WWE. A Twitter report crediting Fightful Select said that Uso’s contract was expiring and he was leaving WWE, with a non-compete clause expiring just before AEW All In. Fightful editor Sean Ross Sapp responded, saying they did not report the story. There is currently nothing to indicate that Uso is leaving WWE or that this is anything more than part of the ongoing storyline.
We didn't report this https://t.co/FKiJaOuPtb

It’s a big story. Check out what happened, plus got us here:
Opinion: This story never made sense in the first place, as a contract expiring means there isn’t a no compete clause, and even if there was, it would be longer than two weeks. I’m not sure where this whole thing is going, but it is hard to imagine that Uso will not be back at some point in the near future to be a part of it. That should make things interesting, and thankfully this story isn’t part of what is going on.
What do you think of Uso’s actions? Where do you see it going? Let us know in the comments below.
