That’s taking it a little bit too far. As I’m sure you’ve probably heard, WWE is put together on a pretty tight script. Nearly everything you see on any given show is written out almost to the letter and woe unto anyone who dares go against what is set up for them. There are a few people who are allowed to say and do most of what they want, but unless your name is McMahon, Cena or Rock, it’s probably best to do what you’re told and nothing more. Someone seems to have thought they knew better recently and that doesn’t seem to have been the best idea.
And it’s not what you would have guessed.
That still wasn’t good enough though and Big Cass went on with the extra beatdown. The punches thrown after the boot have been edited off all versions of the segment released by WWE and Big Cass was not featured on this week’s SmackDown Live. There is no word on what is next for Big Cass or his feud with Bryan.

Opinion: If that’s really what Big Cass decided was a good idea, he’s deserving of whatever punishment he’s receiving. The segment wasn’t funny in the first place and his big idea was to beat the guy up even more? I can appreciate the idea of someone wanting to try something and throwing an idea out there, but there comes a point when it’s time to shut up. When your immediate bosses and the most powerful man in both your company and your industry say no, it’s time to drop the thing.
What do you think will be Big Cass’ punishment? How bad of an idea was this? Let us know in the comments below.
