That would have been one way to go. There have been a lot of names that have gone through WWE’s doors over the years and even more to go through the NXT roster in the same amount of time. Some of these names have gone on to wrestle elsewhere to various levels of success, which can lead to a lot of interesting what if’s. We now know where another wrestler may have been going.
Luchasaurus was a guest on the most recent episode of Talk Is Jericho and discussed his time in NXT. While he was wrestling there under the name of Judas Devlin, Bray Wyatt saw him and wanted to put him in the Wyatt Family. Wyatt saw him as perfect for the team but WWE decided against it, saying that the team already had the dynamic that the company was looking for. Luchasaurus was released from his WWE contract in 2014.
This could have been an interesting dynamic. Check out the early Wyatt Family and what else they could have had:
Opinion: Luchasaurus has been one of the highlights in AEW so far as he certainly stands out and looks different. That’s the kind of description that applied to the Wyatt Family as well, which would have made him seem like a logical fit for the group. At the same time though I can understnd what WWE saw in the team they had, and you can’t say the team didn’t make an impact of their own.
Would Luchasaurus has fit in with the Wyatts? Who else would have made for a good member.
