That’s not a good sign. We’re coming up on “Wrestlemania XXXIII” and the ratings and audience for “Monday Night Raw” need to be on the rise. This is the most important time of the year for WWE and if the numbers aren’t that high, it’s not good news as we head into the biggest show of the year. That’s why this week isn’t the best news.
According to F4Wonline.com,
this week’s show set a record for the lowest audience since 1997 that wasn’t up against a major sporting event or a major holiday. The show saw an average of 3.04 million viewers with hours of 3.16 million, 3.12 million and 2.87 million. This week’s show was headlined by a Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman rematch and did not feature either Goldberg or Brock Lesnar.

Opinion: So…..it’s Strowman’s fault right? I mean, WWE has had ratings issues with Reigns on top for years and it’s never been his fault before so it must be Strowman’s fault this time. These numbers are terrible and there’s no way to spin them, especially around this time of year.
Why do you think the audience was so low? If you didn’t watch, was there a specific reason? Let us know in the comments below.
