They could be wrestlers too. There are a lot of wrestling fans in the world and a lot of them are not your typical people. Some of them are athletes in their own right and even top level athletes, with major league athletes showing up at Monday Night Raw and SmackDown on a regular basis. These can make for some interesting cameos, but what happens when they bring wrestling to their own world?
On Friday night, the Milwaukee Bucks’ Twitter account posted a video showing the team mimicking wrestling moves before their game later that night. This included one member of the team being stomped and chopped before another hit Santino Marella’s Cobra, complete with theatrics. Opinion: This is one of those things that makes wrestling look cooler. Wrestling may be a very niche sport, but there are a lot of famous fans who are a part of that niche. It offers a lot more legitimacy to wrestling, where the performers are not often seen as athletes. Now though, professional basketball players seem to endorse them and that is going to make the wrestlers seem more important.
