That’s never good. There’s a reason they say that this isn’t something you should try at home and that was shown again at this week’s ‘NXT” tapings. While not confirmed, it seems that a member of the NXT roster has suffered a pretty nasty injury, though we’ll have to wait and see how bad it was.
According to Wrestlinginc.com, Ruby Riot injured her ankle in a match at this week’s tapings. While trying a high crossbody to the floor, Riot landed on the ramp and might have broken her ankle. It was clearly injured later in the match and seemed to be dangling from her leg. Riot was helped to the back and couldn’t put any weight on her foot.
Here’s what Riot has been up to lately.
Ruby Riot & Nikki Cross vs. Peyton Royce & Billie Kay: WWE NXT, Sept. 13, 2017
Opinion: Hopefully this isn’t as bad as it sounds but a broken ankle could be quite a serious issue. The only good thing out of this is the fact that “NXT” is taped up for over a month now and Riot could sit out the next tapings as well to give her another month to recover. In a perfect world it wouldn’t take that long, but hopefully it doesn’t take a lot longer.
