Those would be big. WWE has quite a few major events on its calendar throughout the year and some of them are among the most important shows anywhere in wrestling. It can mean a lot for a wrestler to make it onto one of those shows and the higher up on the card they can be, the better for their careers. Now we have an idea of where WWE is heading with some of their shows.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: One For The Other: Former AEW Star Lands In New Wrestling Promotion
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is planning some matches for major shows down the line, some of which may be taking place at WrestleMania 40 next April. The following matches are being considered for some future shows:
• Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes
• Rhea Ripley vs. Becky Lynch
• Jimmy Uso vs. Jey Uso
• Charlotte vs. Jade Cargill
It is not clear when these matches will take place or if any matches involving current champions will be defending their championships if or when these matches take place.
These could be big. Check out some of the teases:
Opinion: None of these are the biggest surprises but what matters is that WWE seems to be making plans for WrestleMania season. Some of these matches could take place elsewhere but it is a good sign that WWE is getting some things ready. I could go for seeing some of these matches as they certainly seem to have some potential if everything plays out properly.
