It’s all in the plan. WWE has been expanding its international footprint in recent months, with major events taking place in venues outside of the continental United States. This has included a show in Wales, shows in Canada and upcoming events in England and Puerto Rico. It is a bit of a complicated process and now we know a bit more about how WWE reaches their final choices.

According to Fightful Select, WWE has been targeting international venues and major stadiums to increase the hype for the events. WWE will also pick locations that can benefit them in a specific way, such as WrestleMania in Los Angeles before talks of selling the company or Elimination Chamber in Montreal for Sami Zayn. If possible, WWE will also hype up how long it has been since they have been in a market for the sake of the press release.

Opinion: This makes sense, as WWE is the kind of company that is going to put in this much effort and thought into planning things out. WWE has far too much to lose from not planning in advance as you do not want everything to be going in one location. If WWE can benefit in some additional way, it makes things even better for the company, which is going to be after as much money as possible.
