She’ll be back. There are so many ways for a wrestler to be put on the shelf and several of them are things that fans have heard of over the years. It might be a rolled ankle, a shoulder injury or something involving their head. Those are at least the names that you hear about, but occasionally there are some injuries that take place that aren’t detailed. That is the case again with a current NXT star.

NXT’s Cora Jade has not wrestled a match since an NXT live event on January 20 of this year and has not been mentioned on NXT TV in any significant way since. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Jade is currently dealing with an undisclosed injury which she suffered in January. There is no word on when she is expected to make her return to the ring.

Opinion: That explains a lot and isn’t the biggest surprised. Wrestling is a physical sport and wrestlers can get hurt at the drop of a hat either in the ring or just in training. It happens to everyone and now it seems to have happened to Jade. Hopefully she is back in the ring sooner rather than later as things were starting to click for her before she was put on the shelf.
