Ouch? Injury Update On Jacob Fatu After WWE Summerslam

Could be worse? Injuries are one of the worst things that can happen to any given wrestler at any time. You never know when you are going to see someone get hurt and put on the shelf. It can lead to some scary situations as there is little that can be done but wait and see what happened. Now we have an idea of what took place with a recently injured WWE Superstar.

Jacob Fatu interfered in the main event of Summerslam, splashing WWE Universal Champion Cody Rhodes through the announcers’ table. Fatu immediately came up favoring his leg/ankle and did not get to his feet again for the rest of the show. While it is not clear what happened to Fatu, it is said “it wasn’t deemed that bad” according to Wrestling Observer Radio. It is also believed that the original plan called for Fatu to stay down to avoid interacting with Roman Reigns. Fatu was later shown wearing a walking boot after the show. There is no word on how long he will be out of action, if at all.

Opinion: That is good to hear, but it is one of those things where we will have to see just how long Fatu is away. There is a good chance that we will not see him in the ring for awhile to protect things from getting worse. Fatu being gone would be quite the hit for the Bloodline, as he has more than hit the ground running in WWE. Hopefully this isn’t as bad as it seems, but it is too early to tell thus far.
