Let the booth breathe a little bit. WWE has a rather interesting way of putting together its commentary teams. For some reason they value quantity over quality and put several names at a commentary booth for any given show. This usually resulted in the people talking over each other or not being able to get in enough to make much of an impact. Now though, one of the regulars seems to be gone.
According to Casey Michael of Squared Circle Sirens via Twitter, Percy Watson is done with WWE in order to pursue a career in acting. Watson mainly worked on the NXT commentary, along with Main Event and 205 Live. Watson’s last appearance with the company was at the post WrestleMania NXT tapings. There is no suggestion that Watson was forced to leave and the split seems to have been amicable. Watson had been part of the commentary team since November 2016.

Watson was starting to find his footing. Check out his thoughts on becoming a commentator:
Opinion: Watson had gotten better, but I never understood why he was brought in for the job. He was never a big star, or even a star at all, and there are several other names who could have felt more important. It’s not like he was an exceptional talker or personality either. Watson was starting to figure out the ropes of being a commentator when he left so hopefully he gets to do what he wants. He wasn’t bad, but it was always a weird fit.
