They don’t want to hear it. WWE is the most dominant wrestling promotion in the world but it is far from perfect. The company has regularly been criticized for its inconsistencies in storytelling, especially when Vince McMahon was in full control. There have been attempts to fix things over the years, but now we know another story of someone trying to improve things and not having the best luck.

During an appearance on the Undisputed podcast, former WWE star John Hennigan (Morrison) told a story about a friend of his getting a job writing for WWE. The unnamed friend began pointing out flaws in how WWE told their stories. Hennigan warned his friend that this would cost him his job in a month and WWE fired him in three weeks. Hennigan did not say what problems his friend pointed out before being let go.

Opinion: And that’s pretty much WWE in a nutshell: sure they know there are problems but they just don’t want to hear them. If they are pointed out, the company will just fire someone instead of trying to fix them. What else is supposed to be done in that situation? Either way, the fired writer tried to fix things and got fired as a result, which isn’t exactly the most positive sign.
