They’re not sure what happened. There are a lot of very talented wrestlers on the AEW roster and one of the most complicated issues is finding a way to get everyone ring time. While there are all of the usual problems that can keep a wrestler out of action, there are times where it isn’t clear what exactly is going on. Now we are seeing it again, and things are still not clear.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Better Than Nothing: Update On Adam Cole’s Injury Status Following June Concussion
This week on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported that AEW had plans for Miro following All Out on September 4, which would have led to a match at Full Gear. However, Miro reportedly turned the match down as he did not want to do it for some reason. Miro then responded to Meltzer on Twitter, asking what happened between January and June, seemingly referencing the fact that he did not wrestle during that time. In addition, Meltzer reported that former WWE stars are “leery” of doing jobs in AEW, with Bryan Danielson as an exception.
Meltzer responded to another fan, saying that Miro had previously revealed a hamstring injury that kept him out of action from January until June 1, when he wrestled his first match of the year. There is no word on when Miro is expected to return to the ring, though he has only wrestled four times this year, with his most recent match taking place at All Out.

He already publicly said he ripped his hamstring. So he's previously answered that question. https://t.co/iG1BOGMjLH

Miro is something special when he is around. Check out some of his time in AEW:
Opinion: I’m not sure what is going on with Miro at the moment but there is something strange taking place. Maybe there are backstage issues holding him back or something as simple as an injury, but for one reason or another, he is nowhere to be seen on AEW TV. We are coming up on four months since he was last seen, which would be the second time he has been gone that long in just over a year. That isn’t a good sign for his AEW future, and I’m really not sure when he is going to be back. That’s quite the shame as Miro is incredibly talented, but it isn’t going to matter if he isn’t on TV.
What do you think is keeping Miro from AEW TV? What should he do when he returns? Let us know in the comments below.
