Not so fast? There are all kinds of things that you will see on any given wrestling show and many of them have been set up in advance. It can help to have plans set weeks before they happen, but there are always instances where something is going to have to change. That makes for some interesting situations and it seems that we will be seeing something different rather soon.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Keep It Going: Update On Roman Reigns’ WWE Status, Not Scheduled For Major Event
Back at AEW WrestleDream, the Young Bucks won a four way match to become the new #1 contenders to the Tag Team Titles. The original plans called for the Bucks to challenge FTR for the titles at Full Gear next month. However, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the plans have changed. Earlier this month, FTR lost the titles to Big Bill and Ricky Starks. Following the loss, the Bucks’ future title shot has not been mentioned, as they will receive their shot at some point down the road.
This should be interesting. Check out all three teams involved:
Opinion: It makes sense that things have had to change as the title change switched things up a lot. At the same time, I can’t really imagine the Bucks challenging Starks and Big Bill for the titles, which makes things all the more confusing. The Bucks can defend the titles at some point in the future and that should give us a good match when things are able to come together later.
