I wonder if he’ll say his name. Aleister Black and Velveteen Dream had a Match of the Year candidate back at Takeover: WarGames. For a change of pace, Adam Cole also had a Match of the Year candidate back at Takeover: WarGames. The two have had some issues since then and I think you know where this is going.
This week on “NXT”, Cole vs. Black was officially announced for this month’s “Takeover: Philadelphia”. Black defeated Cole to qualify for last week’s fatal four way #1 contenders match but Cole interfered in that match, causing Black to be pinned. That was the first time Black had been pinned in NXT, though he has yet to lose a match by pinfall.
If this match is any indication, we should be in for a treat.
Aleister Black vs. Adam Cole: WWE NXT, Dec. 13, 2017
Opinion: This is one of the only matches that makes sense, even if Black already beat Cole clean in the middle of the ring. There’s only so much you can do with either guy at this point, especially after Cole interfered in the four way. I could easily see Cole winning here but at the same time, it’s hard to imagine Black not kicking him in the head for another victory.
Who do you think wins this match? What do both of them go on to do from there? Let us know in the comments below.
