Now we’re getting somewhere. Two weeks ago, WWE announced the first ever women’s Royal Rumble match. That means a need for thirty entrants, which simply isn’t going to be done by the regular roster. At the end of the day there are only about twenty active wrestlers but those names have to be confirmed. A good chunk of those names were confirmed tonight.

On this week’s episode of “Monday Night Raw”, Bayley, Sasha Banks and the three members of Absolution (Paige, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville) were all confirmed for the match. This brings the total up to nine as these four join Ruby Riott, Natalya, Asuka and Naomi who had already announced their entrances.

Here are those announcements:

Absolution, Sasha Banks and Bayley resolve to win the Women's Royal Rumble Match: Raw, Jan. 1, 2018

Opinion: None of these are exactly surprising but at least they’re getting somewhere now. You have to get these names involved already, if nothing else so the announcers can start hyping them up as potential winners. A lot of them aren’t going to have any kind of a chance but at least they’re going to be in the match in the first place.

Who do you think will win the Rumble? Do any of these five have a chance? Let us know in the comments below.
