That’s what’s next. There are all kinds of talented wrestlers in the world but some of them do not work for any of the major wrestling promotions. It can be a big deal when one of those wrestlers becomes available and could sign to another promotion, especially if they have a reputation based on working elsewhere. That is what we are seeing again and now we have an idea of where that person is going.

Over the weekend, Ricochet was officially moved to the Alumni section of WWE.com, suggesting that his time with the company has come to an end. This came after rumors of Ricochet leaving the company and WWE seemingly writing him off television. According to Fightful Select by way of Wrestlingnews.co, Ricochet is expected to sign with AEW, though he is not expected to face Will Ospreay at All In next month.

Opinion: I don’t think Ricochet heading to AEW is the biggest surprise but it should be interesting to see what happens once he actually gets there. Ricochet is someone who has all kinds of talent and a reputation built in so giving him a chance on a rather big stage could be interesting. Hopefully he isn’t out of action long, as he could be quite the fast paced addition.
