New Day Ringing Monday’s New York Stock Exchange Opening Bell

Well….it is the start of a new day. Wrestlemania week brings with it some rather odd methods of promotion. While some, including talk show appearances, autograph signings, rallies and a press conference, there are some which are somewhat mind boggling. It’s that time of year again and this annual tradition is still rather odd.

According to Wrestlinginc.com, the New Day will be ringing the opening bell at the New York City Stock Exchange on Monday. This is a regular Wrestlemania week tradition with names such as Linda McMahon and the Wyatt Family doing getting the honor in recent years. New Day will be the official hosts for “Wrestlemania XXXIII”.

Opinion: I’m not sure I get the point here, other than a quick appearance on a business channel of some sort. Either way, at least it’s something unique and a way to let you know that it really is Wrestlemania time. If nothing else it means WWE might be able to avoid the awkward Xavier Woods chants for another few days.
