This week on Monday Night Raw, Baron Corbin interrupted a Curt Hawkins match and cost him his chance to end his 199 match losing streak. After, Corbin informed General Manager Kurt Angle that Commissioner Stephanie McMahon had named him the new Constable of Monday Night Raw. Therefore, Corbin is now in charge of keeping things orderly on the show, which he did later on when he ordered Angle to overturn a questionable decision in a six woman tag.
Meet the new boss. Very different than the old boss.
Opinion: The more I think about this, the more I like it. Corbin has nothing going on right now and having him as the enforcer of the absent McMahon is a good idea. If nothing else it could give Corbin the push that he needs somewhere down the line. Maybe this leads to Corbin vs. Angle at some point, but at the moment we’re just going to get something from Corbin on his own and that’s a good idea, especially considering how underused he’s been in recent months.
