Negative: Wrestling Fans React To Eva Marie Teasing WWE Return

They aren’t interested. There have been all kinds of stars coming through the WWE doors over the years and several of them do not make the biggest impact. At the same time, there are names who make impacts for the wrong reasons and become more infamous rather than famous. Now one of those names is teasing a comeback, but the online reaction has not been so positive.

Eva Marie debuted in WWE in 2013 before leaving in 2017, only to come back from 2020-2021. This week, Marie suggested that she could return to WWE under a “darker persona”, though there is no word on WWE offering her a new deal or being interested in bringing her back in. I don’t care how you look when you return. Either just take an extensive amount of time in the PC and learn to wrestle or just be a valet/manager. You’ve proven that you couldn’t wrestle on numerous occasions.

Opinion: I can completely get WWE’s thinking of wanting to push the heck out of someone like Marie, who has the look and feeling of a star, but that has not exactly translated to WWE TV. There are certain things that need to be done to make it work, which is where things start to fall apart for Marie. She hasn’t exactly shown the in-ring abilities to warrant a third run with the company, but maybe as a valet only or something like that could work better.
