The Mystery Is Done. Rey Mysterio Reportedly Signs With WWE

Booyaka back. There is no question that WWE is the biggest wrestling company on the planet. It has one of the deepest rosters in the world and that means you never can tell what great match you might seem next. That list can continue to grow at any time with the addition of one huge name after another. It seems to be the case again and this time, it’s a name you’ve seen before. Kind of at least.

According to PWInsider.com by way of 411mania.com, Mysterio has re-signed with WWE on a two year deal. Mysterio had originally wanted an eighteen month contract but signed on, with a clause saying that he can give notice after eighteen months. There is currently no word on when Mysterio will return to WWE TV. Mysterio’s last match with the company was at the Greatest Royal Rumble in April and his last singles match was on the Monday Night Raw after WrestleMania 30 on April 7, 2014.

Opinion: I’ve always been a big Mysterio fan and it’s a cool thing to have him back with the company. I know he’s getting older but his recent work with New Japan and at All In has looked more than good enough. There is a huge list of names to see him against and that could make for some great matches. It’s not like things can go badly here so let’s see just how good he can be.
