Welcome back. Wrestling is very much a revolving door industry as you are going to see a lot of people coming and going to and from different promotions. Sometimes you are going to see some different people showing up again and again in the same promotion, which can make for some rather nice moments. That is what you are going to be seeing again in the near future.
The Impact Wrestling Knockouts division has been one of the more important part of the Women’s Revolution in wrestling and has been so since far before WWE started doing the same thing. The Knockouts division has been around for well over ten years now and have had some of the best women’s wrestling in North America. Now one of the bigger stars the division has had is on her way back.
This is a pretty important deal. Check out a former champion’s announcement:
In a new interview with Chris Van Vliet, former Knockouts Champion ODB has announced that she will be returning to Impact Wrestling. There is no word on when she will be returning of what she will be doing. ODB has wrestled in Impact Wrestling on three different occasions and become a four time Knockouts Champion. Her most recent match in the promotion was at Hard To Kill 2020.
Opinion: This is one of those things that can help the division quite a bit as ODB is someone with a lot of success on her resume. She is someone who can be out there with almost anyone and use the natural charisma that she has to make a few of the younger wrestlers into bigger stars. I’m not sure how long her run will continue, but at least she is getting to do something worthwhile.
