That’s a bad one. There are all kinds of injuries in wrestling and you never know when you are going to see someone get hurt. Some things can seem rather nasty and you have a good idea that someone is hurt, though you might not know just how bad things are. That is what we are seeing again, and now we are seeing a WWE Superstar going on the shelf with a pretty serious situation.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: NXT Results – January 28, 2025

This week’s Monday Night Raw featured the War Raiders successfully defending the World Tag Team Titles against Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh of the Judgment Day. During the match, McDonagh landed hard against the announcers’ table and was down for a few moments before continuing the match. McDonagh has announced that he suffered broken ribs and a punctured ling, meaning he will be out of action for a few months.

That could have been a lot worse. Check out the match plus more from McDonagh:

Opinion: Well that could have been a lot worse. McDonagh’s landing in the match was absolutely horrible and thankfully he was able to pop back up rather than having a much more serious injury. What happened was bad enough but bad ribs aren’t as bad as cracking your head open on a table. For now, McDonagh is going to be gone for the time being but it could have been far worse.

What do you think of McDonagh? How should he be used when he gets back? Let us know in the comments below.
