And down the hole they go. “Monday Night Football” is in full swing on Monday nights and that means nothing good for “Monday Night Raw”. The ratings and audience for wrestling always take big hits in the fall and the question was what the show would do now that the Shield reunion has taken place.
According to 411mania.com, this week’s episode drew a .91 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 2.688 million viewers. These numbers are down 6% each from last week’s .96 rating and 2.871 million viewers. Both shows are the lowest since the June 12 episode, which had a .86 rating and 2.542 million viewers.

Opinion: Ouch. When you consider the fact that “Monday Night Football” was between two fairly unpopular teams, there isn’t much of an excuse for this. The problem boils down to the fact that the Shield reforming is a lot more interesting than the Shield being reformed. They’re not fighting as a unit this week so why else would people watch them stand around talking instead of waiting to watch them fight on Sunday?
