And through the floor they go. It’s the fall, and that means it’s time for “Monday Night Raw’s” audience to fall a long way down. “Monday Night Football” is back and with it comes several new network series premieres. Last night saw the debut episodes of several shows and the question was how far would “Raw” sink as a result.

According to Showbuzz Daily, this week’s episode drew a .93 rating in the 18-49 demographic and and 2.773 million viewers. These numbers are down 6% and 5% respectively from last week’s .99 and 2.923 million viewers. The audience is the lowest since June 13.

Opinion: This is far from a surprise but that doesn’t mean it’s excusable. The problem for me is there isn’t much of a top story. Yeah Shield seems to be reuniting but the majority of last night’s show was just a tease for the reunion. The Universal Champion only shows up every few months and that’s hardly enough to keep the fans most of the time. They need something to draw in the fans and I don’t think the continuing destruction of Enzo Amore is the answer.
