“Monday Night Raw” Preview – October 16, 2017

I’ve heard gimmickry is good for the show. This week’s episode of “Monday Night Raw” is the go home show for “Tables Ladders and Chairs 2017” and that means it’s time for the hard sell towards the pay per view. There’s already one major match announced and now we know what else WWE has on tap.

WWE.com has released its official preview for this week’s show, which includes an already announced steel cage match between Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman. This helps set up the upcoming handicap Tables Ladders and Chairs match at Sunday’s pay per view. Here’s what else is on tap this week with a video for each.

Opinion: I think I like this different format to the upcoming pay per view. There’s only one weapons match instead of the multiples, meaning the big main event feels like a much bigger match than everything else. The show is lacking star power though and looks like it could be a one match card. Hopefully that’s not the case as those shows don’t often work out so well.
