The “Modern Day Maharaja” will have the opportunity to rule over “the show.”

According to the official Twitter page of WWE Champion Jinder Mahal, he will be defending his title against Kevin Owens during the company’s upcoming tour of India, on December 8 and 9:

It is unknown at this time if matches between the two superstars will take place on both of the live events that are occurring during that time period.

Mahal is coming off of a successful title defense against Shinsuke Nakamura at the “Hell In A Cell” pay-per-view. He has been the WWE Champion for 145 days as of this article.

Owens recently defeated Shane McMahon at “Hell In A Cell,” after Sami Zayn interfered and caused McMahon to miss a flying elbow drop from the top of the cell.

Editor’s Note:

Yes, please. I’ve said many times that I have been incredibly impressed with the title run of the “Modern Day Maharaja,” and believe that he has done an excellent job as champion. That being said, Kevin Owens is one of the best heels that the company has had in a long time, and pairing these two together will make for a pair of incredibly interesting contests!
