He’s in? There are all kinds of wrestlers on the WWE roster and some of the company’s bigger names are among the top names in the industry. It can make a big difference to have one of those wrestlers leave, which is why WWE will go out of its way to prevent that from happening. Drew McIntyre’s WWE deal has reportedly been set to expire shortly after this year’s WrestleMania, which takes place on April 6 and 7. As announced by WWE, McIntyre is currently advertised for a show in Italy on May 1. While not confirmed, this could mean that McIntyre has reached a new deal with WWE, though there is no word on how long it might be. To clarify: there is NO report that McIntyre has officially signed and this is currently seen as speculation.
McIntyre has been on a roll lately. Check out what he has been doing:
Opinion: I’m not sure if McIntyre has signed with WWE again or not but at least it seems that he is going to be around for a bit longer. There is always the chance that this is little more than an extension on McIntyre’s previous deal so he can be on the European tour, but that is better than nothing. McIntyre has been doing rather well as of late and it would be very beneficial for WWE to keep him around even longer.
