It’s a possibility. Women’s wrestling has come a very long way in the last several years, as women in wrestling have gone from little more than a sideshow to being featured in very prominent roles. This includes headlining WrestleMania, which leaves women with little new territory to conquer. Now one of the most popular women in wrestling is hinting at trying something else, even if it has been done before.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Maybe? Speculation On Drew McIntyre’s Contract Status, Possible Sign He Is Staying

Monday Night Raw’s Rhea Ripley was interviewed by Sean Ross Sapp, who asked her if she was interested in competing for a men’s championship. Ripley said that she absolutely would should the opportunity present itself, saying she was “always down for a challenge.” The only woman in WWE history to win a traditionally men’s title is Chyna, who was a two time Intercontinental Champion.

Ripley is a star. Check out what she has been doing lately:

Opinion: Is this really that far out of the question? Ripley is taller than most of the women in WWE so the size issue would not be as much of a problem. At the same time, Ripley is approaching a year as Women’s World Champion and there are only a handful of stars who can be seen as a viable threat. Letting her try something else, even in small doses, could open up an entirely new world for her.

What do you think of the idea? Will Ripley win a men’s title? Let us know in the comments below.
