Get your catchphrases ready. Commentary is one of the most important parts of a wrestling show. The announcers are able to guide the fans in any direction that the company wants and tells the right story. That is the kind of thing that can make or break a show in a lot of ways and under the right circumstances, commentary can change the course of a show. That might be the case again for a huge match.

We are at a strange place in wrestling these days and that makes for one of the more interesting situations in the industry. Above all else, the rise of AEW has shaken up the wrestling world outside of WWE, with fans suddenly having a new major company to focus on. That is the kind of thing that can change the way fans see wrestling, and now it is going to change a bit about the way we hear things.

According to ESPN.com, former WWE broadcaster Mauro Ranallo will be calling the title for title match between AEW World Champion Kenny Omega and Impact Wrestling World Champion Rich Swann at Impact Wrestling’s Rebellion event. This is Ranallo’s return to wrestling commentary since leaving NXT in August 2020. According to PWInsider.com, this will be a one off appearance, but more appearances could take place later.

Ranallo has quite the voice. Check out some of his voice and reactions during his time in NXT:

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that is going to make the match feel that much bigger, which is a great feeling. Swann vs. Omega is something that should be presented as one of the biggest matches in the history of Impact Wrestling, so it makes sense to have a big match feel to it. Ranallo is one of the most intense broadcasters in wrestling history and this is something that makes Impact Wrestling feel a lot bigger.
