That’s a big one. With Survivor Series out of the way, it’s time to start the build towards Tables, Ladders And Chairs in December. There are still about four weeks to go before the show but it’s already time to start setting up the card. One of the big matches was set up last night with the show’s namesake match being taken care of, but SmackDown Live needs a big match of its own.
This week on SmackDown Live, it was announced that new WWE Champion Daniel Bryan would be defending his title against former champion AJ Styles at Tables, Ladders and Chairs. No stipulation was announced for the match but that could change before we get to the pay per view. Bryan defeated Styles for the title last week on SmackDown Live after kicking him low to turn into a villain in the process.
The new champ looks great.
Opinion: You kind of knew this match was coming and there’s nothing wrong with making the announcement this early. It’s the most obvious match the show could put on at the moment and should be a lot of fun when given the two people involved. Bryan’s new heel character looks rather interesting and Styles has been one of the best in the world for a long time now.
What are you expecting from this match? Who do you think leaves with the title? Let us know in the comments below.
