You could make a series just out of this. If you’re a younger fan, you might not remember WCW. There were times where the company was one of the most entertaining in the world, but some of those times were for the completely wrong reasons. Some of the things they managed to put on screen were some of the dumbest, most idiotic things you would ever see in wrestling (or anywhere for that matter) and they were hilarious.

This really happened.

Absurd WCW moments that make us laugh

WWE is looking back at some of the most Absurd WCW Moments with a quick montage of WCW insanity. These moments might include ideas that were actually scripted by WCW over the years or someone flubbing a line in a funny way. These include moments from most of WCW’s history, starting back in the early 1990s and going all the way to the end of the company’s life in 2001.

Opinion: I watched WCW from the early 1990s until the day it closed and sometimes when I look back, I can’t believe what I was seeing. Some of this stuff is a combination of so dumb and “how did this make TV” that it’s almost amazing. There are times where this stuff makes so little sense that it’s hard to believe these people weren’t immediately fired, but it’s almost impossible to look away.
