Put them together. There are a lot of champions in WWE and that can create a bit of a problem. With so many titles out there, it can be easy to see how things can start to run together a bit. Sometimes the champions and their titles do not get the amount of attention that they deserve, but that will no longer be the case in a few weeks when one title goes away.

The Coronavirus has changed a lot of things in WWE and that includes how many of their international stars are able to show up. Various stars have been unable to appear on the American shows for a long time now and while there are still some issues to solve, things are starting to get a little bit better. That will be on full display in the near future, because a champion is back.

NXT UK Cruiserweight Champion Jordan Devlin made his return to NXT this week, following a year’s absence due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Devlin confronted NXT Cruiserweight Champion Santos Escobar, who has been champion during Devlin’s absence. Their standoff saw Devlin attack Escobar and leave him laying. The WWE Twitter account has announced that the two will meet at Takeover: Stand & Deliver.

This could get interesting. Check out the confrontation and the two champions in action:

Jordan Devlin lays out Santos Escobar: WWE NXT, March 17, 2021

Dragunov takes on T-Bone, Devlin hosts Open Challenge: NXT UK Highlights, Feb. 4, 2021

Escobar vs. Metalik – NXT Cruiserweight Championship Match: NXT New Year’s Evil, Jan. 6, 2021

Opinion: Now this could be interesting and it is the most logical match that you could have at the moment. Devlin and Escobar have been on a collision course which was going to end as soon as the restrictions would allow. That makes for one heck of a showdown as this match has been set up for a very long time now. I’m curious to see how it is going to go and that is a good sign.
