Sticking around. The WWE roster has been going through a lot of changes in recent months as several wrestlers have come and gone. This includes wrestlers whose contracts have come up for renewal and not been extended for one reason or another. Some have decided to stay with WWE though, and that includes one of the most decorated stars the company has seen in recent years.

According to PWInsider.com, Asuka has signed a new long term WWE contract. It is not clear when her current WWE deal expired and no further details were available. Asuka is a four time Women’s Champion and a four time Women’s Tag Team Champion. She is currently out of action while recovering from knee surgery. There is no word on when she will return to the ring.

Asuka is rather good. Check out what she can do while she is around:

Opinion: This is a good move from WWE as Asuka is one of the better stars the women’s division has ever had. While there is no reason to believe she was going to leave, it must be nice for WWE to have her locked in for the time being. She is someone who can be put into any spot in the women’s division and that is a valuable thing to have as soon as she is available again.

What do you think of Asuka’s time in WWE? What should she do when she returns to the ring? Let us know in the comments below.
