Stick around? There have been quite a few changes to the WWE roster in recent months, with some wrestlers leaving but others sticking around on new contracts. This has been the case with names at all different levels of the roster, including various former World Champions. Now it seems that another of them is ready to sign up to stick around the company for a long time to come.

According to PWInsider.com by way of Cagesideseats.com, Sheamus is close to signing a new deal with WWE. While the deal has not been signed, it is believed to be all but set and would keep Sheamus in the company for three to five years. This comes as several names have been signing new deals, including Shayna Baszler earlier this week. Sheamus has been on the WWE main roster since 2008.

Opinion: This is something that you have seen WWE doing quite a bit of in recent months and that is a smart move. It gives them some security about their roster, who can stick around for a lot longer rather than having their futures in question. Sheamus has been around for a rather long time but is still doing well in the ring, so why not keep him in the company even longer?
