Kurt Angle Continues to Tease a Match with HHH

Grumpy old men. One of the biggest stories to come out of this weekend was the rising tensions between HHH and Kurt Angle. While both men share a position of power, it’s clear that neither of them particularly care for the other. As you might expect, this seems to be setting up a match. While that hasn’t been confirmed, one of them is certainly making it seem to be more likely.

In a post on his Instagram page, Angle talks about not being a doormat to HHH, even if he is Angle’s boss. The two of them haven’t had a singles match since April 2002 but Angle certainly seems ready to update their list of showdowns. He also promises to be ready for anything HHH throws at him. It’s been 16 years since I squared off with The Game, Triple H. He’s now my boss, so things have changed. But the one thing that remains the same is that I will not be a door mat for “anyone”. Opinion: Do we really have to see this? Angle hasn’t exactly impressed me since he’s been back in the ring for WWE, which is understandable given his age and history of injuries. However, that doesn’t mean he should be getting back in, especially in spots as big as this one. Even if the story makes sense, that doesn’t mean it’s the best idea in the world.
