Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Earlier this year, Kenny Omega had one of the best received matches in years (if not all time) when he challenged Kazuchika Okada for the IWGP World Title at “Wrestle Kingdom XI”. The match showcased Omega as a huge star and one of the best in-ring performers. It would make sense that people would start using his offense, which seems to be the case.

Earlier this week on “Monday Night Raw”, Seth Rollins debuted a new finishing move, which is basically a wind up jumping knee to the face. This move is very similar to Omega’s Rain Trigger, which instantly caused people to wonder what Omega thought of Rollins using such a similar move. Omega had the following to say on Twitter.

Opinion: It’s not like moves are sacred (for the most part) and given that Omega is the leader of the Bullet Club with it’s 184 superkicks and NWO tributes, it would be a bit hypocritical of him to criticize this. Thankfully he doesn’t seem to be upset and realizes that it wouldn’t make sense to be.
