Why Did Rusev Demand a WWE Championship Match?

The “Bulgarian Brute” is ready to take his place at the top of the mountain.

Tonight on “Smackdown Live,” a video aired showing Rusev demanding a WWE Championship match at “Money in the Bank.” He said that he does not like General Manager Daniel Bryan, or Commissioner Shane McMahon, and said that the only way that he will wrestle on the “blue brand” is if he his given this opportunity.

Rusev took to Twitter to explain his actions this evening:

I'm just tired…… After all I've done I have NEVER had a championship match. I was undefeated for a year! Now it's My way or the highway

The “Brute” also said that he will go home to his home country of Bulgaria if he does not get his way.

Rusev was last seen on WWE programming at “Fastlane,” when he lost a match to The Big Show. He has since been taking some time off to recover from some injuries.

Many have said that Rusev deserves to be in the WWE Championship picture, and I am one of them. His “Handsome” gimmick has gotten incredibly over with the crowd, and he is very entertaining as both a heel or a face. I hope that this match comes to fruition!
