It's On: Major Grudge Match Officially Set For Monday Night Raw Netflix Debut

That’s a big one. We are on the way to the end of the year and that means it is time to get ready for what is next for WWE. The company has quite a few changes coming in 2025 and that includes the big to Netflix for Monday Night Raw. That show is going to need a bunch of major matches to draw in the biggest audience possible, one of which was added this week.

This week’s Monday Night Raw opened with CM Punk and Seth Rollins arguing with each other and brawling into the crowd. Later in the show, Seth Rollins requested a match with Punk, which General Manager Adam Pearce made official. The match is officially set for the January 6, 2025 Monday Night Raw, which will mark the show’s debut on Netflix. It is the second match announced for the show, following Roman Reigns vs. Solo Sikoa in Tribal Combat.

Opinion: This is the kind of match that the show is going to need and it is nice to see it officially announced. Punk vs. Rollins is one of the better built feuds in WWE today and having the match taking place on one of the biggest Monday Night Raw’s of all time makes sense. Hopefully it lives up to the hype, which could be a bit more difficult than expected. At least they are off to a good start though, as that is one of the most important parts.
