That’s even worse. There are all kinds of injuries in wrestling and one of the worst parts is waiting to see just how bad things are. What can make things even worse is seeing someone get hurt and then having it go even worse than expected. Unfortunately that is the case again, as a wrestler who was already severely injured is now injured even worse than had been reported.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: VIDEO: Injured WWE Superstar Returns Following Nine Month Absence
Earlier this month, AEW’s Eddie Kingston suffered a leg injury in a match for New Japan Pro Wrestling. The injury was later reported as a broken leg, which would keep him out of action for several months. Kingston spoke to PWInsider.com and revealed that he also suffered a torn ACL and a torn meniscus, which will require surgery. The average recovery time for such an injury is nine months, which will put him out of action for the rest of the year.
He’s quite good when he’s healthy. Check out what Kingston can do when he is around:
Opinion: That is absolutely terrible to hear and it is going to be a rather long time before Kingston is back in the ring. Kingston is still one of the most interesting stars in all of AEW and now unfortunately we are going to be waiting a long time before we get to see him again. This is something that happens every so often, but this is quite the horrible situation for Kingston and hopefully he gets better as soon as possible.
