That’s a relief. You never know what is going to happen to a wrestlers when they get in the ring. It’s a dangerous place no matter what you’re doing, even if the match is a short one with a bunch of people to take some of the pressure off of the bigger stars. Sometimes injuries aren’t as bad as they seem, but other times there’s no injury in the first place. Thankfully, this time it’s the latter.
According to Wrestling Observer Radio, Drew McIntyre was not injured when he left the main event of SmackDown Live. Instead, McIntyre walking out on the match during the commercial break was planned from the beginning and McIntyre is fine. There was no mention made of where McIntyre went during the second half of his match with the Bar against the New Day on Tuesday.

Opinion: That’s some of the best news I’ve heard all week as there was quite a worry after McIntyre just vanished. There was always a chance that nothing was wrong though and it’s a big relief that the whole thing was just an angle. McIntyre could be moving way up the card over the next few months and this kind of a setback would have been awful. At least he’s ok and that’s all that matters.
