Welcome. There are all kinds of ways to introduce a wrestler to a promotion, with some wrestlers having built in advantages. One of the most common is for a wrestler to be a relative of an already established wrestler as it gives a bit of familiarity. That is what we saw this week and now we know a bit more about what is going on behind the scenes in the promotion.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Back At It: WWE Gives Major Update On Chad Gable Following Wyatt Sicks’ Attack
The end of this week’s SmackDown saw the debut of Jacob Fatu, who became the newest member of the Bloodline. Fatu is believed to have signed with WWE in April before debuting this week. According to Fightful Select, Fatu has already made a good impression and is said to be very respectful backstage. There is no word on if Fatu will be able to appear on international events, as he has a criminal record from when he was younger. However, is has said to have moved well past that point in his life. His record is believed to be a reason why he was not signed to WWE before.
It went well. Check out the debut, plus what the Bloodline has been doing:
Opinion: That is good to hear, as having a bad backstage reputation can destroy any wrestler’s career right off the bad. Fatu came in hot and we could be in for a very special run from him. That was not going to happen until he was able to get started though and thankfully he got started in a big way. If nothing else, being part of the Bloodline makes things all the better and Fatu seems to already be reaping the benefits.
What did you think of the debut? What is next for Fatu in WWE? Let us know in the comments below.
