He’s out. There are all kinds of people who come together to make a wrestling show work, though some of them have little to do in front of the camera. In addition to the wrestlers, there are several people who help make the show work and it can be a big deal when one of them leaves. QT Marshall has announced that he has resigned from AEW and will be finishing up with the company by the end of the year. Marshall did not give a reason for his resignation but thanked AEW, including people “from the front office to the production truck”. Throughout his time in AEW, Marshall has served in a variety of roles, including Manager of Talent Relations, writing television formats and wrestling/managing on-screen.

Marshall has done a lot. Check out what he has done in AEW:
Opinion: While Marshall has not done much in the ring during his time in AEW, it should be interesting to see what happens when Marshall’s backstage contributions have to be replaced. Someone is going to have to step up and take over some of those roles, which could make for some problems. Hopefully AEW has someone ready to go to take up the spot, though that can be hard to come by.
What does this mean for AEW? Who should take Marshall’s spot backstage? Let us know in the comments below.
