Maybe they need to be redeemed again. This past Sunday saw Impact Wrestling’s most recent pay per view offering with Redemption. The show featured a pair of title changes, including a new World Heavyweight Champion in Pentagon Jr. It made a few things different and that meant things were going to be a big deal as they moved forward. That brought them to the newest set of Impact Wrestling tapings, the first episode of which aired Thursday night. So how interested were people in the new shows?

Opinion: The competition really hurt them this week as the show should have drawn a pretty strong audience. The problem though was going up against a major ratings winner with the NFL Draft as fans are starting to miss football and that means we need to do something to fill in the time. They did manage to stay above 300,000 viewers so it’s not like things went that far down. If things bounce back next week, everything will be fine all over again.
