Him Again? Details On 42 Year Old Former WWE Champion Reportedly Returning To The Company

One more run? There have been countless wrestlers coming and going from WWE over the years and some of them make a bigger impact than others. It can be a big deal when one of them comes back after some time away and that has been rumored to be taking place in recent weeks. Now we know more about what is going on and whether someone is making a return.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio, Erick Rowan is expected to return to WWE after a four year absence. Rowan left WWE in 2020, though he did return in a one off appearance at the Bray Wyatt tribute show in August 2023. This comes after it was announced Rowan would be missing his upcoming independent dates. There has been speculation that Rowan will be joining Bo Dallas’ Bray Wyatt inspired stable but that is not confirmed.

Opinion: This is where things get interesting as Rowan is someone who could be put into a variety of roles. He’s a big power guy and that is something WWE can use rather easily. It would be nice to have him back, if nothing else after his most recent WWE run involved that weird spider thing. Hopefully this one goes a bit better, as there are ways Rowan could be used rather well.
