He Would Know: Shawn Michaels Reveals Some Matches He Feels Should Receive More Attention

He had a bunch. There are certain wrestlers who have been around for a long time and have a long list of classic matches to their credit. When you have a wrestler with so many masterpieces on their resumes, it can be easy to forget some of those matches over the years. Now one of the most talented stars in history is revealing some matches that he thinks are overlooked.

WWE Hall Of Famer Shawn Michaels was interviewed by The Schmo and spoke about two of his matches that he feels are not mentioned enough. First, Michaels mentioned his match with Mankind at In Your House: Mind Games, saying he thought the two of them could have had a much longer story than just their one match. Second, Michaels spoke about his In Your House: The Lumberjacks match against Jeff Jarrett where Michaels won the Intercontinental Title. He cited the chemistry the two had and felt the match is not talked about very often.

Opinion: This is the kind of look back that is always worth a look, as Michaels has a unique perspective as one of the biggest stars of all time. You will always hear about the biggest matches of his career but it is nice to hear about matches from his career that you might have forgotten about. Michaels certainly has some classics and it’s cool to see something else like this.
